MatrixEd is a next-generation platform that empowers teachers to receive real-time feedback from students to close achievement gaps and facilitate more effective learning outcomes. Our technology serves both educators and students alike, enabling both to self-reflect on teaching and learning methods.
Before MatrixEd, teachers did not have the tools to determine the “why” behind students’ struggle. Our software allows learners to give assessment feedback and determine where they need additional practice to master concepts, vocabulary, and/or processes.
By engaging students in error analysis, teachers can determine whether the gap in learning is comprehension or retention based. Our dashboard visualizes both formative and summative assessment performance and allows educators to self-reflect on teaching methods. MatrixEd helps educators close the gap by highlighting trends and empowering them to make instructional adjustments, individualized education plans and ensure students meet grade-level expectations.
PROBLEM WE SOLVE
In March of 2020, COVID stopped the world in its tracks and forced many of us to rethink how we we approaching day-to-day tasks, how we work and how our students learned. This global pandemic forced educators to rely on technology more than ever, while supporting students that were either learning completely remote, utilizing a hybrid approach, or learning asynchronously in-person. Many K-12 institutions are concerned that this disruption slowed students’ mastery of concepts and educators everywhere are wondering what tools and technology they can leverage to determine student competencies and gaps. While the education space has been inundated with applications, technology and software, there are very few tools that allow teachers the visibility into what students are struggling with and empowers them to make informed instruction decisions relevant to each student real-time.
